Entry Requirements
Completion of Year 12 or equivalent.

Completion of Year 10 and Non school-leavers are selected according to eligibility and merit, vocational experience, previous study and personal competencies are used to determine entry.
Prerequisite knowledge and skills are required that demonstrate basic fundamental ICT knowledge and skills that are in line with the Learning Outcomes from the following units:
· BSBCMN106A Follow workplace safety procedures
· ICAD2012B Design organisational documents using computing packages
· ICAU1128B Operate a personal computer
· ICAU2005B Operate computer hardware
· ICAU2006B Operate computing packages
· ICAU2013B Integrate commercial computing packages
· ICAU2231B Use computer operating system
· ICAW2001B Work effectively in an IT environment
· ICAW2002B Communicate in the workplace
These skills will be assessed during the orientation process. Inability to successfully demonstrate these skills could result in your course being extended by six months to enable you to attain the necessary entry requirements.

Program Duration
Full-time classes are usually timetabled between 8:00am and 6:00pm, Monday to Friday.
Please Note: This qualification is not offered as a stand-alone qualification to full-time students and must be completed before entering the Diploma of Information Technology (Website Development). That is, full-time places are reserved for students entering the Diploma through QTAC.
Part Time: 12-18 months
Part-time classes are timetabled between 6:00pm and 9:30pm week nights (depending on study program chosen).

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is a process where a student may be granted credit or partial credit towards a qualification in recognition of skills and knowledge gained through work experience, life experience and/or formal training.

If an enrolment form is not attached, ensure that your name, address, phone number and email address are placed on the list by either emailing us or telephoning the Student Administration & Services on 13 72 48.
